Connecting young minds with nature and the animal world.

Our family's story on this farm started in September 2020. We started welcoming families to come experience a little bit of farm life and enjoy the connection to the animals and nature, donations from visitors helped supplement the high cost of animal care. For countless people their first interactions with horses, pigs, and goats has been on our farm. After people discovered us, we began getting many requests to take in animals that needed new homes, some we were able to help and some we just did not have the proper space set up for quite yet (our property was very overgrown with brush and we make progress cleaning it up every day). Being a former Licensed Vet Tech, our lead farmer felt a calling to do more to fix the situation to help the many animals in need. We knew we had the space, but we just didn’t have the personal funds to feed/properly care for additional animals. So, we became a licensed non profit animal rescue. Over the course of a year our family drained our personal finances and energy helping over 50 animals in need in just one year. After our tragic botulism event in December 2021 that left 4 of our horses dead, we realized just how short our time on earth is. While we are still home to mostly animals that are rescues and may continue to take in more on a case by case basis. We decided it best to pursue our own farm dreams, and are still in the processing of paving the way for them to come to life. So with that new outlook we made the tough decision not to renew our non profit status any more. We unfortunately didn't get the community support we had anticipated to make it make sense for our farm. So for now we are a small family hobby farm, doing our best to make an impact on this world, and hopefully we will spark a love for animals or curiosity in nature for a child or two.
Families are still welcome to come visit our farm, and when able our horses are happy to give a ride or two as well! And we of course still love sharing the magic of nature and our animal friends with all the children we encounter. Come join in on the fun!
We love being able to share a little slice of farm life with other families. Watching a child go from unsure to completely overjoyed during the course of their visit here brings us so much happiness.
We are so excited to see what the future unfolds and appreciate the support of all our guests and community.
Our latest rescue projects transformation, a gentle giant.
