What you can do when you visit this farm!!!
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve the lives of many animals in need. Your generous donation's fund our mission and helps educate future generations.
Our family's story on this farm started in September 2020. We started welcoming families to come experience a little bit of farm life and enjoy a horse ride to help supplement the high cost of care that our farm animals bring. After people discovered us, we began getting many requests to take in animals that needed new homes, some we were able to help and some we just did not have the proper space set up for quite yet (our property was very overgrown with brush and we make progress cleaning it up every day). Being a former Licensed Vet Tech, our lead farmer felt a calling to do more to fix the situation to help the many animals in need. We know we have the space, but we just don’t have the personal funds to feed/properly care for additional animals. So, we became a licnesed non profit animal rescue. Over the course of a year our family drained our personal finances and energy helping over 50 animals in need. After our tragice event in December 2021 that left 4 of our horses dead, we realized just how short our time here is. While we are still home to mostly animals that are rescues and may continue to take in more on a case by case basis. We decided it best to pursue our own farm dreams, and are still in the processing of paving the way for them to come to life. So with that new outlook we made the tough decision not to renew our non profit status this year. We unfortunately didn't get the community support we had anticipated to make it make sense.
Families are still welcome to come visit our farm, and when able our horses are happy to give a ride or two as well! And we of course still love sharing the magic of nature and our animal friends with all the children we encounter.
We love being able to share a little slice of farm life with other families. Watching a child go from unsure to completely overjoyed during the course of their visit here brings us so much happiness. Moments like that also inspired us to open a forest farm school that is enrolling now! See our "Forest school" page for more info!
We are so excited to see all of this come to life and appreciate the support of all our guests and community.
RIP Cherry, Magik, Peanut Butter, and Beau. We will never forget you.
Nothing beats the excitement of a birthday girl when she finally gets to ride the miniature horse!
Did you visit us and get awesome video or pictures?! We would love to see them!
