The Fancy Farm was excited to have the Fall City Forest School join us for the school year. But, as we know sometimes things do not always go according to plan. They will be holding summer programs here at the Fancy Farm, but our forest school site will be vacant for the school year. If you or someone you know is interested in leasing our forest school site send us an email to connect! What a great opportunity to help share natures wonders with next generations!

Christina is a homeschool (pre covid!) mom of 4 who worked for a decade in the veterinary field as a Licensed Vet Tech. With a passion for helping animals in need and teaching children she has combined the two to create "The Fancy Farm" where children and their families can first hand experience farm life and nature. Prior to working in the veterinary field, she was a preschool teacher at the YMCA early child hood development center. She grew up in the Snoqualmie valley in a large family that spent most of their free time exploring our natural world. She had a 12 year career as a girl scout and spent her teen years as a camp counselor, life guard, ski instructor, and rock climbing coach- teaching children has been a big part of her life! Currently, she enjoys studying animal behavior and applying her knowledge to help rehabilitate and train the rescues that the farm takes in. One of her favorite things about running the farm is watching the kids that come in nervous and scared leave happy and excited about their new animal friends that they met. Christina believes that the younger generations are capable of preserving our earths natural habitats and beauty and wants to instill her love of nature into as many young lives as she can.
